  • Terps Women's Soccer Plays To 1-1 Draw With American

    Senior forward Kaila Sciascia scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season to give the University of Maryland women's soccer team a 1-1 tie with American Friday evening at Ludwig Field.

  • Georgetown Women's Soccer Continues Impressive Start, Defeats Mississippi State, 3-0

    The Georgetown women's soccer team received two goals and an assist from junior Toni Marie Hudson (Coral Springs, Fla./Stoneman Douglas) in a 3-0 win over Mississippi State on Friday afternoon. The win at the George Mason Tournament marked the first victory over a SEC opponent in program history and moved the Hoyas' record to 4-0-0, another program first.

  • Hoyas Blank Davidson, 3-0, in Home Opener

    The Georgetown University men's soccer team (3-0) shutout Davidson College (1-2), 3-0, Friday afternoon at North Kehoe Field. The solid Hoya defense combined with good decision-making on offense resulted in Georgetown's third shutout of the season.

  • Weary Open Cup champions travel West

    Despite winning the oldest major tournament in the nation on Wednesday night, there's no rest for a weary D.C. United, who have flown some 2,500 miles west in advance of Saturday night's league match at San Jose where a revitalized Earthquakes squad lies in wait, hoping to snatch a vital three points at their expense.
